Sunday 23rd May to Old Smithy Godshill
Turn left out of car park - TL at Whitely Bank take slip road on left - TJ turn left - Arreton - TR to Hare and Hounds
T/Ligts straight on past tip - MRabt straight over TL - turn left past crematorium - 1st exit at roundabout towards
Newport past Seaclose - TLghts take right lane and onto the Dual carriigeway towards Northwood, at
Northwood TLghts at garage take left lane take the left turn (about quarter mile) towards - Porchfield - Shalfleet
TJ turn left and next right to Calbourne XRds left and on to Newport - at the botton of Carisbrook high street
turn right past the back of the Castle - after about 3 miles turn left towards Rookley
and back to Godshill and the Cafe.

After last week`s cancelation due to appalling weather, we finally got a meeting together, the first since March,
2020 ! ! At Godshill, eleven bikes met plus two pillions. We spent about 90 minutes dodging showers and
covering what seemed most of the Island ! After tea and buns back at the Old Smithy we all dispersed, grateful
for some form of club/social activity and catch up after such a long spell of "covid" absence. It was good to see
the "lay off" still gelled and to watch the bikes in front of me swoop with delight now the "reigns" are partly off.
