Sunday 20th June 2021 Verdies Café Fort Victoria
June 16th to Fort Victoria 'Verdies Café. Route turn right out of car park bear left towards Whitwell TR through Beacon Alley X Rds straight on to Chale, just in the village TR towards Whitwell take next left turn to Shorwell - MRabt turn left towards Brighstone, through the village - next Junction TL through Brook - TJ turn right on the Military rd - Freshwater Bay at the car park TR through Freshwater MRabt turn right towards Yarmouth and follow the brown sign to Fort Victoria.

A gathering of about fifteen riders and two pillions, plus a lucky break in the weather, allowed us the 2nd meeting of the club since the lockdown eased. Quickly out of a busy Godshill, we soon enjoyed the quieter, greener back roads, hamlets and a coastal route to the Verdie Cafe` at Fort Victoria, which sports fine views of the Solent. No doubt teas and tasty buns were enjoyed along side buddy re-unions after 18 months of covid restrictions. Our best wishes to Mich L`Houre (and Jan), he is not so well at this time.
