Sunday 17th June 2018 Verdies Café Fort Victoria
Route: Turn left out of Car Park - Whitley Bank Mrabt - TR Wroxhall - upper Ventnor TR at the Chip Shop - next right Whitwell - left at the church - Niton - TJ - TL and follow road to the right past Blackgang and on to the Military Road to Freshwater Bay - Turn Right at the car park to Freshwater following the one way system - Mrabt TR towards Yarmouth and TL at the Brown Sign to Fort Victoria.

Always a risk having a run on Fathers Day but it always falls on our run date of the 3rd Sunday of the month, Angie stayed at home recovering from our 12 Night East Coast trip to Scotland some 2059 miles, we got back on Friday.
Anyway 14 bikes joined the run with a few pillions, we welcomed back members we hadn't seen for many months as well as two new members and although I ordered good weather my contact let us down. It just about stayed dry before we left but it wasn't long before the wet misty rain started the clouds closed in with very poor visibility and a strong gusty southerly wind along the military road.
We arrived at the café which normally has a great outdoor area to sit and enjoy a Solent view, not today, the café was empty so at least there was indoor space for us all. Thanks to Tail End Charlie - Michel
