July 16th Run to Fort Victoria

Right out of car park - at the end of the village bear left - Whitwell TR at the church - Niton follow the one way system and on to the Military Rd - after a good few miles take the right turn to Brighstone - TJ - turn left towards Freshwater - follow the one way system - MRabt - turn right (3rd Ex) and on Yarmouth

Hi, nice to be back in the groove and the club runs again. Lots of words of support and hospital visits/phone calls etc, have helped me get back to near what I was before. What I have written is the round up of today`s run
Nine bikes and ten people arrived at Godshill for this months somewhat windy meeting. The weather stayed dry as we weaved our way to south and west Wight. In particular, the view, as we rounded Blackgang`s roundabout, to the Needles, is always stunning, but today was shrouded in a sea mist/spray. We made our way up the Military road and arrived near Yarmouth to find the road to Gossips blocked ! Unfortunately, this caused the group to beak up. We turned back and most of us stopped at Fort Victoria for tea by the sea !. Nice to see and ride with you all again after my recent health scare and the concern you have afforded me.
