Run to Old Smithy Cafe Godshill
Sunday 19th Feb run to Old Smithy café Godshill (circular)
Turn right out of car park - Rookley at the end of the village take left turn to Gatcombe - TJ - T/right to Carisbrooke at MRabt turn left up the high street - MRabt straight over - Calbourne Xrd TLeft over Mottistone Down - TJ turn left to Brighstone - right at church and left at the Military Rd - to Chale - Tleft - Chale Green - take the Rookley turn at the Xrd and then right in Rookley and back to Godshill.

A chorus of 17 bike engines broke the peace of Godshill today, celebrating some long awaited fine weather. While the sun shone all the way, we made tracks to Gatcombe, Carrisbrooke, Calbourne and enjoyed the very narrow Strawberry Lane, almost to Brook. Then winding our way east and south, we joined the Milly Road, to enjoy a spirited dash to Chale. From there, Bleak Down, Rookley and back to the Old Smithy to take tea and for some, - - - HUGE cakes ! ! Great to see club members again after the winter blues, stay safe, your tail end Charlie, Steve.
