BROTHERS
RE-UNITED THROUGH COMMON INTEREST
Like many families, sometimes although living in the the same area, family members
drift apart as new relationships, interests and work environments create separate
paths. This was the case for Darren and his brother Brendon. Brendon had always
had a great interest in motorbikes. Darren always planned to get involved in
Motorbikes at some point, but family commitments and other interests always
came first. Well. that all changed recently, Darren having passed his CBT and
having bought a 125cc bike visited his brother one night, who was delighted
to see him. and a renewed brotherly relationship has started because of a common
interest. Both are Club 4181 Members, who also enjoy the Wednesday evening Wightbikerscene
get togethers on Shanklin Seafront.
Here are a few pictures for Darrens first trip to the Mainland covering
120 miles on his 125cc in 30 degrees of heat, not bad considering he only past
his CBT 5 weeks ago, and has never driven a car!
9am Ferry - The New Forest to Cranborne Chase, coffee and tea stops in Burley,
lunch at Compton Abbus Airport - back on the 5.15pm Ferry. Both have partners
called Jullie, Brendons partner rides her own bike, Darrens partner?
well, rumour has it she is going to learn to ride.
