Sunday 19th June 2022 Calbourne Water Mill

ROUTE TL out of car park - MRabt TR to Ventnor - Upper Ventnor Chip Shop TR take the next TR towards Whitwell - TL at the church - Niton follow the road towards the Military Road - after a good few mile turn right the Brighstone turning - next T/Junction turn left through the village taking a small right turn over Mottistone Down - T/Junction TR and follow the Water Mill signs, parking is arranged to the lower courtyard

Sunday 19th June Run to Calbourne Water Mill
After a few scattered morning rain showers, 14 bikes met in better weather for this month's meeting. We had a good run to Ventnor, then Whitwell, passing the spectacular Ventnor/Niton coast line on our left. We then surged up the Military Road to Brighstone and skittered over the green and wooded down to Calbourne Mill. Having missed last month's meet due to poor weather, many notes and much chatter were exchanged over scrumptious tea and cakes ! and as we left, one or two newer machines were enviously admired.
